Technical University of Crete
The Technical University of Crete (TUC) was founded in Chania in 1977 and admitted its first students in 1984. The Technical University of Crete is consisted of five engineering Schools all of which offer postgraduate programs of studies. The mission of the Environmental Engineering School is to provide advanced, high-quality education and research means concerning environmental engineering issues, as well as to prepare qualified engineering scientists capable of contributing in the measurement, monitoring, assessment, and treatment of problems caused by human intervention in the environment. It also conducts the MSc postgraduate programme “Environmental and Sanitary Engineering” to preserve public health and safety.
